The full-facility roll. 2m wide runs prowlers, farmers carries and partner work side by side. 20m covers most gym floors in one continuous piece with no joins and no trip lips.

White lines + metre marks
The same 2m x 20m roll with white edge lines and numbered metre markings inlaid down the full length. Sled intervals, broad jumps, shuttle runs and testing days without a tape measure.
Inlaid, not painted, so the lines wear at the same rate as the turf. Made to order.

Black
Same dense short pile, in black. Lays flush with our 15mm black rubber tiles so the whole floor reads as one surface, then the white lines and your logo do the talking.

Custom
Logo Panel
Send your logo file and we cut and inlay it into the turf itself, not printed on top, so it wears at the same rate as the floor around it. Snap Fitness runs a 2m x 1m Ferrari Red panel. Reunion Training runs a white wordmark in black turf.

Ferrari Red is on the shelf. Black, green, blue, grey, white, yellow, terracotta and purple are made to order with minimum quantities, in any roll size, with line markings and logos if you want them.
Same pile, same stitch density, same heavy commercial rating. The black, green and blue floors in our fit-outs all started as a phone call.

How to lay gym astro turf
Real install footage from a Phoenix rubber and astro fit-out. Standard lanes are an afternoon job with double-sided tape or adhesive. Wider floors are laid edge to edge with the seams cut and secured so it reads as one surface. Our crews install across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne; everywhere else we ship and talk you through it.
Sweep and dry the concrete. Sort humps and moisture first. Turf follows what is under it.
Roll it out, let it relax for an hour, then square the lane off the rubber tiles or the wall line.
Double-sided turf tape on the edges and seams for indoor lanes. Full-spread adhesive for outdoor pads and high-traffic floors.
Trim with a sharp blade against a straight edge. Butt rolls tight, seam tape underneath, then load the sled.

Why Phoenix turf
Built for sleds, not showrooms
Long-pile landscape turf looks lush and drags terribly. This is gym turf: dense, short and stitched tight, so the push feels the same on metre one and metre twenty.
Holds firm under weighted prowlers, battle ropes and repeated agility work. No buckling, no creeping, no ripples after month three.
300 stitches per metre, 31,500 tufts per square metre. That density is why it does not mat flat and go slick where the sleds run, the way cheap import turf does.
Sits at the same height as our 15mm rubber tiles, so turf lanes and lifting zones meet with no trip lip. One floor, two surfaces, square joins.
UV-stabilised polyethylene fibres hold their colour in the Queensland sun. Outdoor pads, car parks, rooftops and Defence training sheds as well as the gym floor.
Metre markings, lane lines, agility ladders and logos are cut and inlaid, never painted, so they wear at the same rate as the floor around them.

What is the best astro turf for a gym sled track?
Dense, short-pile turf with a high stitch count. Long landscape turf looks lush and drags badly; short dense pile gives a consistent push from metre one to metre twenty. Phoenix turf is stitched at 300 per metre with 31,500 tufts per square metre and is rated heavy commercial.
How much does gym astro turf cost in Australia?
Phoenix Ferrari Red rolls are $1,100.00 for 1m x 15m and $2,200.00 for 2m x 20m, GST included. The 2m x 20m roll with white lines and numbered metre markings is $2,400.00. Black is the same price as red: $2,200.00 plain, $2,400.00 with white lines. A custom logo panel is $511.50. Other colours and custom sizes are quoted within one business day. Freight is quoted up front.
What sizes does the turf come in?
Standard rolls are 1m x 15m and 2m x 20m. Butt two 1m rolls together for a 2m track, or lay 2m rolls edge to edge for a full floor. Custom lengths and widths are made to order.
Do the white lines and metre markings cost extra?
Yes. The marked 2m x 20m roll is priced separately above. Lines and numbers are inlaid into the turf rather than painted on, so they wear at the same rate as the surface.
Can I get black turf, or a custom colour?
Yes. Black 2m x 20m is priced the same as Ferrari Red and ships in 3-6 weeks, plain or with white lines. Green, blue, grey, white, yellow, terracotta and purple are made to order with minimum quantities. The black floors at Movement Standard Brisbane, Reunion Training and World Gym Penrith are all Phoenix turf.
Can you put our logo in the turf?
Yes. Send a vector or high-res PNG and we cut and inlay it. Snap Fitness runs a 2m x 1m Ferrari Red panel, Reunion Training runs a white wordmark in black turf. The panel is priced separately and added to your roll.
How does it sit next to rubber gym tiles?
Flush. The turf finishes at the same height as our 15mm rubber tiles, so sleds roll from rubber to turf with no trip lip and no ramp strip.
How is gym astro turf installed?
Standard lanes: sweep the slab, dry lay, square it off, then double-sided turf tape on the edges and seams. Done in an afternoon. Outdoor pads and high-traffic floors get full-spread adhesive. Can I use it outdoors?
Yes. The fibres are UV-stabilised and the turf is on outdoor pads, rooftops and Defence training sheds around Australia.
How long until it arrives?
Ferrari Red rolls ship from stock on the Sunshine Coast in 3-7 business days. Made-to-order colours, sizes and logo inlays take 3-6 weeks. Freight is quoted up front either way, Australia-wide.
