FAQ
Why does neutral grip protect the shoulder?
A straight bar forces internal rotation of the upper arm (palms forward, elbows flared), which impinges the rotator cuff under heavy loads. Neutral grip keeps the arm in a natural position — far less joint stress.
Can I still get a good chest workout?
Yes. Pec stretch and contraction mechanics are still present. Many lifters feel more pec activation with a Swiss bar because they're not fighting shoulder discomfort.
Is it good for rows?
Excellent — neutral grip bent-over rows, inverted rows, and seal rows all feel more natural. Parallel handles allow a cleaner elbow path of motion.
Does it fit standard Olympic plates?
Yes — 50mm Olympic sleeve standard.
